Saturday's workout will involve the dumbbell. Asymmetrically working with dumbbells prepares you in daily life for lifting objects with either side of the body. At this weekend's meeting, we will first demonstrate and practice snatches, walking lunges, heaving snatch balances, split jerks and swings-all with a single dumbbell. Then, our WOD "Dumbbell Disco", will be as follows: With a single dumbbell perform the following exercises for time: 10 one arm dumbbell snatches on each side, 15 split jerks on each side, 20 walking lunge steps on each side, 25 heaving snatch balances on each side, 30 one arm dumbbell swings on each side.
