We will be doing the famous Fight Gone Bad this Saturday.
Here is what Coach said on the CrossFit message board when asked about the history of this workout.
"The workout is five minutes of work followed by one minute of rest and is repeated three to five times.
The workout was engineered to match the time domain of a UFC 3 or 5 round fight while exceeding the metabolic demands.
By all accounts we succeeded marvelously. One well known UFC competitor offered that it felt like a "fight gone bad", and that no fight ever felt like that. "
We will have the official Men's and Women's weights, and because like all CrossFit workouts this one is scalable, we will have lighter weights available to accomodate all fitness levels.
Here is a video of some people doing this workout from CrossFit HQ.
